February 2: Two more children killed in Cite Soleil this morning, reports Pierre Labossiere of Haiti Action Committee

Two more children were killed in Cite Soleil at about 1:30 a.m. this Friday morning 2/2/07.

According to the reports, the family of five was sleeping in their home when UN/MINUSTAH soldiers started to fire their weapons in the neighborhood; there was no report of other gunfire in the area.

The mother and father were wounded, two girls, Stephanie Lubin, 7 years old and her sister 4-year old Alexandra Lubin were killed. I was just listening to the cries of relatives, friends and neighbors grieving and protesting this double murder by UN/MINUSTAH soldiers. More details to come out later.

These children and their parents are the latest victims of indiscriminate shooting by the UN/MINUSTAH soldiers. Recent reports of children killed by UN soldiers in Cite Soleil include 9-year old Boadley Bewence Germain, shot in the head on 1/20/07 at about 12:30 p.m. and a 17-year old student shot in the chest on 1/22/07 at about 6:00 p.m.

Enough with the denials, lies, apologies to cover-up continuing atrocities.
